| Bio: | Moi!  My name is I'm TWENTY-TWO years old and will turn 23 next October I seem to have blinked and suddenly I'm 'in my twenties'...and I'm still wondering how the hell that happened! I love sitting and watching the stars I hate cucumbers..I think that they have the most awful taste..Just thinking about them makes me cringe. I hate being in photographs..But I LOVE taking them..I'm a little bit of a photo taking whore I knit when I'm bored..or procrastinating. I love the smell of lilacs I miss living in residence I dislike people who chew their food loudly I love having random adventures..especially when they involve swings or picnics..if they involve both I'm basically in heaven. I'm horribly indecisive Rainbows in the sky make me smile :) School! I go to Trent University where I'm a proud Champlainer I JUST finished a double major in History and Psychology with an Emphasis in Education. I recently got accepted into teachers college and am going through for teaching starting in September 2007 During the school year I used to live in Peterborough Ontario in an apartment with my roommate Rhiannon but I've recentely moved home to my parents place outside of the city..fun fun :|  Trent :) Home! During the summer I live on my family's small fruit and vegetable farm in rural Ontario with my parents and my brother. My parents have been married for thirty-five years and were married fifteen years before they decided to have kids I was born in Peterborough but moved to our farm when I was five My brother's name is Ben and he's a little more then two years younger then me --> We use to fight like cats and dogs but now we get along fairly well. Ben's girlfriend is named Jenny and they're practically married. --> They've been dating for quite a while now and rarely spend a night away from each other..Jenny even came with our family when we went to South Africa this past winter Jenny is working with me at our store this summer Ben also works around the farm being my Dad's right hand guy... --> He plans on working on the farm after he's done highschool..even though he got accepted into every program he applied at post secondary. I'm a true country girl at heart..I don't mind hard work or getting my hands dirty and often miss living in my sleepy little town (Population around 1000 ;)) when I move to the 'big city' of Peterborough (Population...74 000..LOL)for the school year I love being able to walk outside and see trees and hear the birds and not have anyone else around..  Home! :) My Lovelies! I surround myself with some of the most wonderful people who I believe have ever existed..They make my world happy...They've been there through the tears..through the smiles..and everything else inbetween..They've kept me sane..and made me crazy..and I wouldn't trade them for anything. I still have my group of highschool friends..but it seems that we've begun to loose touch more and more over the last few years..everyones lives moving rapidly in drastically different directions. Sure, some of us have kept in touch..and I know that there are some who I will always hold dear to my heart regardless of how much we drift..We can pick up after weeks of not talking and be as good of friends as ever. Then there are my university friends who I spend most of my recents days with...We spend a lot of time just hanging out doing nothing..often procrastinating doing any form of schoolwork..We spend a lot of time at the local pub/bar called The Pig's Ear and will dance away our nights at the Trashateria...we drink too much and stay up too late and have a blast all the while..even managing to get our school work done too :) A Few Pictures! I've been journaling online for years now..But have recently felt a slump in my ability to express myself on my LJ. I've had a GJ for years to keep up with a few friends from back in the day and made the switch from one site to the other...now that GJ is dying..I've moved along to my new home here and am setting up journal again :) I'm trying to get back into the habit of really writing down the things that are important to me..and making time to get into the habit of it again..because I miss it. In my both my GJ and my LJ I found myself both conciously and subsonciously filtering my thoughts and feelings...I just need a space that's seperate from my LIFE LIFE. Yes I love my friends to death..but I just want a spot to be able to write without bounds. So if I know you in the real world...It's very unlikely that I will add you to my friendslist..and all of my entries will be friends only. It's not because I don't love you or because I want to exclude you..It's just something I feel I have to do... ♥ I do however want to expand my friendslist in other avenues..I enjoy reading about peoples lives and comment when I feel like I have something to say...I'm a busy student who has about a million things on the go 24/7. I usually have 20+ hours of classes a week..plus homework, multiple volunteer committments..family and my crazy friends. But I'm also hopelessly addicted to the internet and try to keep my friendlist fairly close and personal so that I can keep up with it on a regular basis...Sooo..If I sound like someone who you'd want on your friendslist..Leave me a comment and I'll more then likely add you back! :) | |||||||||
